are three visible spectral bands rendered with natural colors to provide a display close
to the natural view of the human eye. General perpose information can be extracted by
photointerpretation methods. |

Enhanced Landsat TM image of the island of Santorini. It is
a pseudocolor image and provides good color contrast of the volcano area. The area close
to the volcano has higher temperature than its surroundings. Band 6 of the Landsat image
represents heat radiation and it is given the red color, Band 4 which is in the near
infrared (NIR) is given the color green and Band 1 which is visible blue is given the
color blue. |
